22 Years as a Practitioner
It has been an been an enlightening journey to be connected to divine source as a Reiki practitioner and therapist. I am always a student of Reiki and have maintained constant research and study to complement personal experience. This has led me to also study Buddhist and Taoist Qigong, the energy science from which Reiki Originates. The 5 Precepts of Reiki address the mental and emotional framework of the practitioner. With the Saumty method we will examine the power of mental frameworks in the use of the 5 Precepts as a healing modality through the understanding of psychology and neuroscience.

Saumty Method of Usui Shiki Ryoho
The Saumty Method is the original Usui Shiki Ryoho system as taught by Hawayo Takata. There is an updated history of Reiki since more accurate information has come out in 20+ past years. Elements of Buddhist and Taoist breathing and meditation have been included along with specific Japanese Reiki techniques. Finally, through the use of psychology and neuroscience the study of the 5 precepts have been reimagined to facilitate deep internal change and is utilized as a strong healing technique itself. The original Usui Shiki Ryoho core is maintained with annotation on the Saumty method distinction included in this program.

Reiki 1 - The First Ring of Awareness
In the first ring of awareness, we focus on the mindset of a healer through mindful self-awareness. Each student will learn how to access the Taoist experience and begin the transformative process dealing with internal mental and emotional blockages. The student will receive 4 attunements from the teacher and be instructed in how to access deep healing mental states.
Each student will also be guided into the understanding of energy anatomy, sensations, symptoms, and side effects. Students are trained in the use of intent and intuition. Daily routines are established to grow, develop, and maintain the spiritual progress in the Reiki tradition.
The goal of Reiki 1 is to empower the student to be their own mental, emotional, and spiritual healer through connection to divine source, mindset, routine, and discipline.

Personal Development
Reiki may have origins in Taoism, Buddhism, and Vedic teachings and yet it is not a religion. Students are free to practice whatever faith they choose. The mindset, access to intuition, confidence in intent and prayer, and connection to divine source is a deeply personal journey. The techniques learned in Reiki develop and empower the student in their spiritual journey no matter what faith they follow.
Just like an Olympic athlete can go on to be an executive, fire fighter, or anything else. The skills developed through excellent coaching in Reiki will benefit the individual in all their endeavors they choose to take.
It is a path of do no harm, to be accepting, to be forgiving, have humility, honesty, and kindness. If a partitioner does not exhibit these qualities, then they are not practicing Reiki. With love and gratitude my friends, be blessed!
